Been getting into helis but I seem to be at the hobby shop every other day buying replacement blades. anyone else fesl like they are spending way too much on blades, and they just seem to break on even the smallest of crashes.

anyway back to flying my heli, yeah got some new blades smile

Are you buying a cheaper blade? I think you should look for a blade that has great quality and a blade that can absorb a bit of impact.

I actually bought the Blade CP last November 2005. I bought two of them, one to practice with and one to fly when I actually knew how (I did not think I would have the first one in a flying condition after learning-I was wrong). The Main thing everyone needs to know is that you have to practice alot. I suggest buying two sets of training gear in case you break the first ones. Also, if you can swing it buy some extra parts: Skids, Main shaft/gear, extra blades, and an extra battery pack. I know this sounds horrible, but trust me its not as bad as it seems. RC Helicopters are the toughest to learn, but give you the most satisfaction when you actually can fly them. I do recommend a Flight simulator to learn the basics of the controls, it will definitely cut down on your learning curve.
